Kevin Ott headshot - writer for Rocking God's HouseAdonis Lenzy’s new book “Next: What to Do When You Know There’s Something More” (BroadStreet Publishing) was a refreshing read that immediately gets your “What if?” juices flowing. And by that I mean those surges of possibility that fill you when something inspires you to see (and believe sincerely) that you can do more with your life than what you’re currently doing. The book has a brisk, entertaining pace (with plenty of movie references as illustrations, which I especially appreciated–particularly the “Shawshank Redemption” one). It cuts through every barrier to moving into new adventures and goals in our lives–especially the barriers that we often build ourselves. Whether it’s shooting down all the excuses we put up or teaching us how to deal with the abundance of distractions (i.e. distractions like “applause,” “comparison,” and “tomorrow), “Next” tackles every key objective we might have to really finding out what could be “next” in our lives if we have the courage to take that first step. If that sounds like you, then I highly recommend this book to help you with that first step. Below is the recent press release from the author with more details about the book, a link to purchase it, and a book trailer (among other things). Enjoy!

(Disclaimer: I am also a BroadStreet author with a book coming out later this year, but this is not a paid/affiliate review of the book. I was given a free copy of the book to review, and I genuinely think it is an excellent book for those who want to grab a hold of their dreams instead of merely talking about them.)

Adonis Lenzy Offers Simple Steps to Achieving Your Dreams in New Book, ‘Next: What to Do When You Know There’s Something More’

Endorsed by Dave Ramsey and with a Foreword by American Idol finalist Danny Gokey, ‘Next’ is available now wherever books are sold.

Tuesday, May 17, 2016 — In the new book, Next: What to Do When You Know There’s Something More, author Adonis Lenzy explains how sometimes in life we find ourselves still dreaming the dream but not living the dream. We reach a place called Stuck, which has the potential to lead to discouragement and unhappiness. We do the same old activities at work, school, or home while constantly imagining the life we really want to lead.

Next speaks to the everyday person who has somehow stopped believing in their dreams and shows them how to take simple action steps to keep them moving forward towards their goals and help them live the life they have always wanted.

Discussion topics include:

  • It Stinks to be Stuck: When every day feels like Monday.
  • So What’s Next?: Letting go of yesterday.
  • Facing Fear Head On: Conquering rejection.
  • Increasing Your Capacity: Learn to take the leap of faith.
  • Make Your Next Days Your Best Days: It’s never too late.

It is never too late to take strategic steps toward the future you want to have. You don’t have to be stuck. Next will show you what to do when you know there is something more.

Says Adonis, “It’s never too late to make your next days your best days.”
