Erica Lane’s Album Release Party & Concert at Rocketown!
The Nashville-based Christian recording artist Erica Lane, whom we interviewed here, is about to have a party — and a big one too. She will be celebrating the release of her new EP, Take Your Burden Down, at Rocketown’s White Building (522 5th Avenue South, Nashville, TN) on Wednesday, May 28th at 6:00 p.m, and it will feature a concert as well as Lane shows off a few songs from the EP, followed by a “mix and mingle party with light hors d’oeuvres,” according to her publicist. The hors d’oeuvres is especially important information that I needed to verify from a trusted source because food is essential to any good party. Nashville’s shaylee&scott will open for Lane at the release party, which will be emceed by Doug Griffin from 94FM The Fish.
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased in advance of the release party/concert at Universe.com.
GRAMMY® and Dove Award winner Bryan Lenox (Michael W. Smith, The Katinas, Enrique Iglesias), produced the 5-song EP Take Your Burden Down, which includes the new radio single, “Burden.” In June, Lane will begin a radio concert tour with September Day Records artist Tammy Trent and Inpop Records artist Everyday Sunday.
Lane also wrote and recorded the song, “For Those Who Love Him,” the theme song for the new motion picture, Veil of Tears, from Word Films and Gospel for Asia. An official music video was released last month, and the single is available now at iTunes and Amazon.
A former Miss Houston and Top 10 US Miss World, Lane is an accomplished vocalist and songwriter, and she has toured the United States and abroad performing with such big names as Jon Voight, George Lopez and Chonda Pierce. You can learn more about Erica by reading our exclusive interview with her.
